In December, 2016, I traveled back to New Haven to take part in a workshop of the photographers the Beinecke Museum has collected. Terry Tempest Williams gave a great presentation about the West and Photography. On Saturday, we photographers got together and looked at each other's works. George Miles, the Curator of Western Americana at the Beinecke who organized the workshop, described his ideas for a group show in 2018 and a photo book in conjunction with that show.
In late 2016, I started recording an audio book of Huerfano for Audible, with the help of audio expert and friend Julian Martinez.
In May 2017, the New Mexico Museum of History's large Counterculture Show will open, and some of my photographs we be part of the show. I will participate in connected events at the museum. Stay tuned.
In September, 2018 the Beinecke Museum at Yale University will have a show of the work of the photographers the Curator of Western Americana, George Miles, has collected. My photos will be in that group show, called Eye on the West. Also, in conjunction with the show the Beinecke will publish a book also titled Eye on the West on the work of the photographers it has collected, and my photographs will be in that. I will give an informal talk on Monday, September as that week's "Mondays at the Beinecke" event.
Also in September 2018, my photos will be in a show at UCCS Galleries of Contemporary Art which commemorates the 50th anniversary of Libre.
I will have a photo show at Farina in Albuquerque in November, 2018.
